Hello!

Eclipse, I'm really glad your conference went well! Were
there a lot of women scientists there? I hope your transition
back to work goes smoothly!

On the topic of otherworldly life, I don't think of it as
exisiting in human or other advanced forms because that
evolution would have required hospitable conditions, climate,
etc. Since we've explored (or haven't we?) all planets with
hospitable climates, and haven't found similar life there, I
don't believe it's possible that life like ours exists in other
places. However, that's not to say that more simplistic life
forms, or just ones that require different surroundings, don't
exist elsewhere.

Did that make any sense? I'd love to hear what all of you think!
Seriously and non-seriously! =) There are so many stories and
guesses about different beings on other planets; did any of you
see Men In Black? I liked the octopus alien that gave birth!
